East Village Doorways

I had a wonderful day walking the tree lined streets of the East Village neighborhood getting some great doorways. It feels like Sesame Street lived here once, such a homey nice feeling. I am making my way around the city preparing the 'Doorways of New York City Coloring Book'.

doorways of Brooklyn Heights

I made a trip down south to Brooklyn Heights photographing beautiful doorways. It's like a coastal San Francisco there with sweeping views and gorgeous brownstones. Progress is being made on the Doorways of NYC Coloring Book!

Cobbled streets of Meat Packing neighborhood

I found my new favorite part of the city, northwest of Greenwich Village, the Meat Packing district. Came across it at night with my friend Maria, who was visiting from Austin. Definitely will make it there soon to survey its wonderful doorways behind the lens.
We also walked around lower Manhattan amongest the towering financial gems. Shooting their doorways will be like being in the presence of kings and queens from days long ago...
